Photoshopped a rendering of my dash, I'm stoked! I still have a few parts to source, but I think it will work out real nice. I'll post up actual pictures when it's done in a week or two, just don't want to spoil the surprise.

Installed my trailing arm cross member from porter built. I was amazed how great it fit and I am glad I decided to go with their stuff. Next up Im ordering my notches and then the drop member.

That looks fantastic. Nothing better than fresh paint that turns out perfect.

Masked and rattle can painted interior of doors. Like my hi-tech cardboard windows and smiley face?

Krylon Champagne Nouvea Brushed Metallic Paint is what I used. It has more gold to it than the original, but is "good enough" for my ole beater shop truck. As rattle can paint goes this is pretty good stuff, applies nice. This will be the 3rd repaint since the original factory color. Previous owners painted the interior lime green (go figure), flat black and now "Champagne Nouvea" a rather Foo Foo name for what I think is decent color. It really shows all the contours and brightens up the interior. Posted a before photo below for comparison.

Took off the bed, fabbed up the mounts for my fuel cell, scraped and wire brushed at the frame and gave up after it rained on me three different times. Good times....good times.....

Yes they are always good times when working on them, not sure why, but its like a moment of piece and tranquility......then the dream is broken when the man cave door opens and someone wants you to do something else......

I am using the Caramel Latte since my daughter said it matched my seats better than that. Not that it's much better of a color name or anything, but both look great.

Took me a whole can just to do the dash. Man, it's going to take about 6 cans to do my interior.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Just a tip for the guys using rattle can paint, which I have done myself. Preheat the can in hot tap water, ( not on your stove ) for 15 minutes, it creates a little higher pressure plus finer mist, some paints dry quicker.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I changed the plugs which required me taking off the header on the passenger side, took the valve cover off to get the casting number off the engine, fixed the gas leak that was created from taking off the valve cover on the passenger side from moving it too much, and put some di-electric grease on the passenger side tale light.
