Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Buck's truck brings it to the table! Is it just me, or is that a short bed? What motor?
|
Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
that does look like a short bed.

Thank you gentleman, Iv been at a stand still, for awhile now. the interior is almost done, but Iv been stuck on my door panels for about 2 weeks. im doing some thing pretty cool with them and its taken a week to figure out how to do them and another week to get the fabrics ordered in. and unfortunatly it will prolly take a week to put it all together. |
Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Lol Thanks guys

Tires are Mickey Thompson 36x15.50R16 Baja MTZ radial and the rims are Mickey Thompson 16x12" Classic Locks. The price of rubber nowadays is insane! the tires were almost twice as much as the rims! |
Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Yeah let's hope not, like a bigger badder Christine! Lol

Here's mine bonus cap.
Bought it last july from California. At first I was going to buy Suburban but I found this from craiglist. Seller wanted 1500$ and I paid 1300$. When it arrived to Finland, all I did was check fluids and drove it to inspection. |

Thanks Guys, just got it and put my wheels and tires on it. First plan is to ditch the body lift and blue steering wheel. Best thing...everything works including the ac.
|
Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Nice truck!
Good plan! That's the first two things I did to my old blazer when I got it, got rid of the body lift, replaced the goofy little steering wheel with a stock one, then put a 454/sm465/np205 combo in it, and later trimmed the front fenders some more because the 40s were getting into them with the 4" lift. |
Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Here is my 91. It had a 350 originally but now has a 454. Eventually it will get lifted and a 5.9 Cummins.

Here is my new-to-me 1991 GMC 3500 Crewcab Dually.
76k original miles, 7.4l (454), auto w/OD, power locks, power windows. No rust, one small dent in the outside of the bed, dent in the driver door, needs new driver fender, hood and windshield from tree branch falling on it in windstorm. Also no rear bumper or tailgate. Is going to replace my '87 GMC crew short-bed; it will be a short bed too, not a dually, just not sure if I am going to do this one with 1/2 ton suspension or not? Not sure if I should sell the CCSWB I have now and buy an IFS/dropmember and some sort of 4-link for the rear, or rob all the parts off the existing crew (all new front suspension/brakes including Bell-tec spindles/springs/shocks) and get rid of whats left? I have a little while to figure it out? |

A few more pic's.
The bed would be decent if not for all the mod's for the fifth-wheel and camper. Plus the truck it will be replacing. |
