I decided to carry my stud idea a little further, I screwed up one of the studs by not using the correct tool, thinking a torx would work, but not

all phillips heads replaced with square drive, hated that little burr you get with phillips head, even with a new screw driver and correct head

underneath the mounting brackets, where it mounts to the floor, it squeezed out, About a 1/4" roll all the way around, plus the bolt hole

a little trouble with the back bracket for the Lokar shifter. Have to buy a 5/8" spacer and a 3/8"-16 X 3" bolt

finished up rear trans mount, ordered 3" bolts had to cut down to 2 1/4"

Looking good Jim. Stud idea on seat mounting is great. Makes installing carpeting a lot easier if you are going that route.

Thank you, but no, carpet only hold moisture and sand, perfect combination for rusting out my floor boards again. I'm thinking garden hose after a trip to the beach

Your truck is looking great, my shop is 14 by 18 but it is heated, so I can spend my time in a t shirt

sorry for not updating, but just enjoying life. this is my off season, where I catch up on my other projects. Did get to drive the shifter cart for a while, it's a blast.

doing alot of road trips, just got back from Sturbridge flea market, lots of cool stuff up there, picked up some automobilea.
