I am just going to find a 69-72 lwb frame to use on my build.... changing the frame horns and rear cab brackets must be easier that playing games trying to put P/S on my 66... :waah: |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I'm running baby! Just gotta bleed the brakes to help the mushy pedal. I haven't driven my truck since last July. Next weekend is my 13th wedding anniversary, and my wife I went on our honeymoon in my truck! It will be cool as usual to be out and bout on our anniversary in the truck.
It was good to just sit there and listen to the cam thump and bump! |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Pulled the rear end out of a 69 LWB at the local pick n pull yard to replace the rear end in my 66 LWB that is about to go. Now praying this new rear end, I mean used, doesn't howl like the old one.

I bought this truck about a month ago and I finally got the old stuff cut off and finished the ECE 4-6 drop kit on the back. Hopefully the front will go a little smoother. I'm putting the disc brake upgrade on the front with drop spindles. Here a few photos.
