 X4 Thanks guys.

I rolled it outside to washed it inside and out and to check the color match. It looks like it will be fine. But the glove box door doesn't match the dash. I think it is because I used a Sikkens Hugger orange base I had left over from another job. I wasn't worried about it matching the outside because they were not side by side.

Thanks guys for all the comments.

Well we have our good days and bad. Nothing went well today. First I ran around to 2 different uhpolstry shops. They both wanted $650 and they said they couldn't color the seat belts. Now I'm on the look out for dark gray or black seat belts.

Started sanding the TG with 800 and went thru in a couple spots.

This is not a bashing at all. They make quality products. I have been in contact with Mar-K about an issue with the rear sill. I told them I will post pics here so they can see the issue. Maybe it's just me. I bought the rear sill over 2 years ago and never test fitted it. It is nearly impossible to do that with 2 people with the setup I have. That's my fault. Note to self always test fit. ;)

I can only get one bolt in each side. The top of the bed will not tilt in enough to get the 2nd bolt in. I took pics of the difference between the old and new. The old has more of a relief cut than the new. I didn't cut it and find out. Even with that cut done I'm not sure it will sit down enough on the rear sill. I will wait on their response. I have the TG fitted with the old sill and wonder how the new one will affect the fitment.

Hey Alan, what seatbelts do you have that you cant use? What color and type? I am looking for some for mine if you want to sell them. I prefer a tan or black belt. Let me know if your interested in getting rid of them.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

i'm going to agree with you alan! i know that not having the relief cut is part of whats stopping you! it needs to look like the old rear sill relief cut, and it would bring the side down, but not sure if it will touch the sill! you have a bigger gap between the bed and the sill then mine did i was having the same problem when i grafted the '70 steel to mine! it's a pita! whats wrong with your old sill, can you not use it?

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Oh I see what belts you have..Look like Silverado seats, so that wont work for me...UNLESS...you just send me the seats, that would work out great!! lol

Hey Alan I have a set up brand new Black lapbelts!

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

You are right, that relief cut is shaped wrong and is not deep enough to properly fit the bedside on the rear sill. I am afraid you will have to cut it down to give more clearance.

We apologize for the part being wrong and for your inconvenience. Thank you for letting us know so we can make it right. This problem has been corrected in our process. One more time we are grateful to members of this board for feedback that helps us improve the quality of our product.

I'm thinking about fixing the old one. I am concerned that the gap will not close up tight enough unless I oblong some holes. 198Plus had to hog his holes out to get his in. I talked to him today.

Thanks for the quick reply. I talked to 198Plus today and he used the same sill. He said he had to hog the holes out to get everything lined up. I'm on the fence right now whether to proceed with yours or just repair the one that came out.

Found a lift today at a shop that is going out of business. He wants 1100 for it. I just need to sweet talk my neighbor in helping. ;) HEY SHANNON, that's me yelling over the fence. :haha:

Also got some carpet today.

I used these people before with a Miata carpet and was pretty pleased. Then again it is the only carpet kit I have installed lately. The last one was in the 90's in a 72 El Camino.

Thanks Man!!

I've got a great neighbor!! He was on his anniversary trip last week and called and said he was stopping at Summit and ask if I needed some things. Why of coarse. He picked me up the fuel filter and air cleaner I needed. The air cleaner I had wouldn't fit any more after I installed the electric choke.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
