Great work man!! I'd love to build a truck on bags someday, but I couldn't afford another build. ;)

Love the pics from the show. Your trokita looks bad ass there. Especially from the front view! Great work! Frame is tight!

I was building a watts link for my 88 yesterday and mocked it up on the 60 because it was easier, and I decided it needed one too. Stuck it on there today and mocked up the links with string.

What is a Watts Link and what does it do?

Re: my build thread

It acts like a panhard bar but keeps the rear end centered instead of pushing it one way.

Re: my build thread

well not too much new to report as of late, moved the truck outside to make way for a 37 Hudson pickup chassis that im building for a guy. it has a Mustang 2 front end with a pwer rack. i built a complete tube rear clip for it with a 4 link and its on bags all around with a narrowed 9'' in the rear and a 6'' shorter wheelbase... should be pretty cool.
just brought home a new toy and got 220v power in the garage. a new Miller tig welder:metal:

... then a freak accident happened, i got a new big bottle of argon from Airgas, got it home and unloaded it. i went to bear hug it to get it up the curb and tripped, i fell on top of the bottle with my hand under... it smased a couple of my finger tips off and serverly injured my ring finger... a couple hours of surgery and a night in the hospital, the surgeon was able to amputate what was left of my index and middle finger down to the first knuckle and rebuild the nail bed on my ring finger.
super bummed but it could have been way worse, and after my first checkup it looks like the surgery took and everything is living so i wont need more surgery as of now,and i retained my feeling in them also, so im very thankful.
cant wait to get back in the shop.:metal:

Not a fan of finger surgeries, had an accident where I caught my r/pinky in a belt and pulley... No fun.
Praying for a quick recovery for ya. the 60 GMC is looking great!

Come on over to my parts. You'll work that middle finger quite a bit driving around here.

Glad the doc appt went well.
