Are those "Cateye" chrome round headlight covers or stainless? I want a pair stainless. The half moons i have now are stainless I have been looking online: http://www.taillightking.com/Headlig...rs_Shields.htm http://www.taillightking.com/31-53GMTruck.htm http://www.bobschevytrucks.com/exter...dlight-covers/ http://www.bobsclassicchevy.com/headlight/ Although I found some half moons with the chevy logo on them. http://www.taillightking.com/images/...ie_HLCover.jpg |

Mine's a beater but mostly original. I'm customizing it with a 61 hood and a 61 c-60 grill. My plans are to drop it and give it a two-tone black and white paint scheme.

I like the 60 series grill plans, Greaser.
Let me know if you need anything in particular.... Mine sure wouldn't be rollin' without your help. |

Hey 62shortstep, did you get the plates made for your 62? If so were you able to get the year stampted in the upper right corner.

I found out in short order that the 1960-63 Chevy trucks are the bastard children from Chevy. I almost gave up and bought a newer truck and stay in the mainstream but these trucks are too cool to give up, just wish I could get new doors too!!

Here are a few recently discovered photos of my truck about 14 years ago, when it was all black and had shiny paint:

But seriously, any chance of showing us the engine? Bedwood? Interior? That's a REAL nice truck. You'll probably do what most of us did that had something nice at an early age - sell it. Then spend the rest of your life regretting it. Mine was my dad's bought-new '55 Chevy two door hardtop Belair in black. Man, it STILL kills me and I'm an old dude now. |
