haha thanks, it looks cleaner in that pic than it really is, i need to do the bodywotk to the center section but that will not be happening right now. will save that project for late.

nope, what you see is what i got, other than one vent ball and part of the center vent(the directional piece), why you got some stuff laying around i can have lol??

a driver side peice it is blue and it is the outer peice that screws in the dash....

not a whole lot but i repainted my gauge bezels and started installing them in the cluster. now i need to buy the rest of the gauges so i can finish it, and also make/cut out a piece so i can install my gas gauge and turn signal lights in the cluster.

not much of an update on the burb but i did pick this up out of a jeep for it lol. and also picked this up for my beetle for $100. :metal:

hell yah he is, super great guy to do business with, actually done business with him a few times so far after the buying the hinge. and he was actually gonna send me another 3rd door lower hinge at no cost because usps took like 2 weeks to deliver it, and nobody knew where it was lol, but it came just before he was getting ready to send the other one out.

HAAAAA not a problem at my house my burb is "overbodydropped" meaning my frame is still 3-4" off the ground when flat out down,,,,just roll the jack (lo pro jack, of course) between the wheel well and tire,,,jack it up *piece a toast*

no pics yet, but i finished welding and boxing up the lower a arms, need to do some grinding and some wire wheeling, and drill a couple holes for the bags, then i can paint them and start putting them together. sure hope i can get the ball joints out of my other a arms without damaging them.

got my new tires installed today, bought some more spray paint to finish and paint a few things, reinstalled my rear lower bag bracket crossmember, drilled the hole for the lighted cig lighter (now i need to wire it up), sprayed some rust reformer on the inside of the drivers side fender, and bought some chrome exhaust tips.

installed the rear bags and lines, aired it up and set it on the ground. then i moved the jack stands to the front, so i can tear it apart in the next couple of days or so to do the front bag and drop spindle install. also installed the chrome exhaust tips.

wire wheeled and grinded down the a arms, want to get them sand blasted before paint and reassembly. gonna go back out and start tearing apart the front end in a few minutes

got one side of the front end all torn apart, need to do some cutting on the spring pocket tomorrow, gonna be cutting out the top for air line, valve, and bag bolt access

Glad to see you got some new tires. Since the last time I saw them, they were so bald on the outer edge you could see the air. :lol:
