I came across a deal yesterday, That I couldn't pass up.
A 1928 Fordor Sedan. Cab, Front fenders, Hood, And frame. $400 :D
Of coarse, The wood is shot :( , But I will do a full custom anyways.
I'm thinking a 3" chop, "Z" the frame. Drop it to the ground.
Give it a bowtie transplant. Two tone teal. And weld the back doors in.

But of coarse it will have to wait until I finish my truck.

But here are a few shots

Rick, The truck is the priority!! Another member here, Is upgrading the
drive train in his truck, To an LS motor and 700R tranny. I think we
can make a deal on his old 350 turbo and 350 sbc.

nice project!! heres a few picts of my 30 two door. my grandfather bought this car in 1957 and drove it for years. he gave it to me when I was 7 and I dreamed of driving it all through highschool. when I actually got the car home I was kind of upset with how little room there was inside the car. I robbed the motor and trans and ended up putting them in my 48 chevy pick up instead. so at this point the car just sits outside under a tarp awaiting its turn back in the shop. thanks for sharing your picts, kind of makes my eyes a little wet when I think of the connection with my grandfather. wish he was here to see the finished car.

That's going to be a fine ride!!! What is the front and back suspension, looks
like a 4 link rear, But can't see real well. And how hard was the top chop job?

I was looking around town, For some welding clamps.
The ones for butting panel to panel. And no one here in
B@mF&ck SW Georgia sells them. So I decided to make them.
I had most of the stuff laying around anyways. All I had to buy,
Was a roll of pipe hanger strapping. For a $1.67.
All you need is a piece of 1x1 square tubing.
Some 1/4 x 20 bolts, washers, nuts, And wing nuts.

I thought some of you would enjoy this:D

And some more pics

I guess these would have cost $20-30 to buy on line, and ship.
But my total investment, is $1.67, and an hour of my time. :)
