Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
Nice job on your truck.
Is that 1966 Olds Dynamic your next project? If so can you please post a couple pictures because I don't think I have seen one with a side marker before. What's on the dash? Thanks |

was the idea to insert a tachometer into the dashboard http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT64.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT65.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT66.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT68.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT69.jpg light on http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT6a.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT6b.jpg then made the footlights http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT6c.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT6d.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT6e.jpg |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
long time I also wanted to make light in a bumper.
but a new is LED (and I do not want it) and the original ones are very expensive on e-buy so....Russian hand made http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7w.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7x.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7y.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7z.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7A.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7B.jpg abra cadabra with wires http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7C.jpg the light is on http://funkyimg.com/i/2zT7D.jpg |

Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
You know what?
With new springs, I do not like the look. Looked high. The rear springs returned the old ones. http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtH.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtJ.jpg Front cut one coil http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtK.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtL.jpg So-now is good http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtM.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtN.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtP.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUtQ.jpg |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
I love my rims very much, but in fact they are narrow.
tried to find the same or similar, but you know: it's hard to find in Russia something original for old chevy. http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxt.jpeg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxu.jpeg one of these days have decided to insert (weld) spacers. In Russia we call it RAZVARKA (weldout or something like that) :) there is one garage, guys for a long time professionally do it http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxv.jpeg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxw.jpeg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxx.jpeg http://funkyimg.com/i/2zUxy.jpeg so we have plus three inches |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"

Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
Your tach mod. Looks great. I want to do the same on my '67. Just curious though, did you delete the turn signal indicators?
I cant wait to see pics of the widened wheels. That will be a very cool look! Nice work! |

I also waiting my rims))) Turn signals are temporarily installed here http://funkyimg.com/i/2zWso.jpg On that place was a generator charging lamp and an oil pressure lamp. They are not necessary to me now, because I installed additional devices http://funkyimg.com/i/2zWsp.jpg In the future, I'll set the turn signals as needed. On each side of the tachometer. there are many options http://funkyimg.com/i/2zWsq.jpghttp://funkyimg.com/i/2zWsr.jpg |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet С-10 "Brigadier"
Nice!
I saw the green glow earlier but didnt realize that was the indicators. Very slick. I say keep it that way. Very ingenuative. |
