Well......................since you asked  I'm actually thinking like a midnight blue, I have an obsession with blues for some weird reason. Reason I'm choosing midnight blue or along that line, is because in the sun I want you to be able to admire the shine and the color but since I'm doing a bit of black and blue theme on truck I want it to seem black at night so that it looks like a ghost affect and it all blends in does that make sense?

Thanks man! :metal: and a little secret I'll share is that my frame won't be black either :)

But all the parts I'm going to paint black and things like that I'm going to do a semi gloss so that it flows with it a little bit but it's noticeable enough to catch your eye.

You should send Chip Foose an email and ask him to make a sketch like he does on Overhaulin'. Haha

Believe it or not, I've tossed the idea around a few times. I then think man he's probably to busy to sketch up a drawing but yet again how do you know if you don't try.

I'll have to subscribe to your thread. I've been trying to think of a catchy name and keep drawing a blank.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( but just think when you get it back it's going to be that Platinum C10, we just say it's going under cosmetic surgery for about 2 months.

I can't wait to see it, was it kind of a bitter sweet feeling when you had to drop it off?

Man I prepared myself for 4 weeks so when he said 6 - 8 weeks I was down and out.........He told me that if he wasn't busy they could have me out in about 2 weeks. He said he would much rather take the time needed to do it right than to rush to get me in and out and take a chance of missing something. When he said that it made me feel better. lol.

 yeah I think anyone of us rather them take there time than rush it. I'm saying mine is going to take a good 2 months just to over shoot it and that way if its done before then even better and can't be dissapointed  Glad he's making you feel better by saying he's going to take his time though that's a bonus.

Awesome. 6-8 weeks isn't nearly as bad as the times some of these other guys are getting so don't feel bad. Mine has been dropped off for a week and he hasn't even started yet . It's my fault since I added a few things and he's waiting on them to be delivered. Either way it's not like I'll be home from work anytime soon so it doesn't matter. He can take all the time he needs as long as it's done right

Yeah I will be patient...lol. I would rather it take 8 weeks and be done right than 2 weeks and look like crap! I live about 3 miles from the shop so I will at least be able to go by and take lots of progress pics! :metal:

I think it looks WAY BETTER with the lower moldings on it, but everyone has their favorite look.

Yeah I think so too. What you guys think? Side molding or no side molding? Thanks McCoy for the quick turnaround!
