I had a velocity stack with the foam element on my 70 when I was in high school. It looked cool, but, had the timing advanced too far, the engine back fired, died, and there I sat, watching the paint bubbling on the hood. I would include a photo in keeping with the thread, but the truck was gone long before digital cameras arrived.

Yes, Jesse is a little exspensive, but for the amount of work he did on this truck it was well worth it. I have it at El Cajon Auto Trim getting the interior done today. I'll post pictures when i get it Back.

Here is the 1972 I just purchased from Missouri, having it shipped to Canada as soon as arrangements can be made. I also have a 70 LWB I've been wanting to restore for 10 years. But between farming and working full time, I never seem to find the time, So I said f*** it and bought one. Now I need a third job. :)

She's gonna be my "daily" driver, but once I get a job, I'm hoping to customize it further....Attachment 319425

Sorry about the fuzzy pix-I'll get better ones later (was too excited and had to take some pix before it got too dark!)

I'm off cuyamaca & Broadway in Fletcher Hills, I've been to both El Cajon and La Mesa shows but not with this truck. I just got it on the road a few weeks ago. When this weather clears up a bit we should hook up?
