I'll be back next week, been here almost three weeks. Sucks I cant leave hotel cause of security problems. Just have to stay in room figuring what to buy (looking at a Viper)

Wow! Looks Sweeeet guys! Mr. Abraham is a true Artist! I wish I had been there this weekend to lend a hand. I can't wait to see it all put together. :metal:

Thanks!

She has a new Mar-K wood bed kit for it already with stainless strips and hardware. I need to find another set of wheel tubs. The plan is to re-paint the inside of the bed when it's all apart....

cool, sounds like a good plan to me!

Abe is the MAN! I think that's been said a few times in this build thread... We are honored to have one of his paint jobs in the fleet. Makes me want to have one of those 'car show' signs made that people prop up by there cars...

1965 Chevrolet C-10
Shortbed Fleetside
283/700r4
"Paint and Body: Abraham Flores, Moriarty, NM" :metal:

Sounds like a job for "D-Ray"... :ito:

Oh yeah, "Custom pinstriping: Danny "D-Ray" Apodaca, Santa Fe, NM

:)

I can't wait to get to the point your at. It's the most rewarding part of the build. Looken good. :metal:

Re: Progress on my woman's '65 Short/Fleet.

Thanks! Pictures really don't do that color any justice. That golden pearl really lights up in the sun. Lisa did a great job picking the color... We love it... We put a lot of miles on the truck this weekend. Had a blast...

You're right Strodder... it was very rewarding...

sucks that it's hard to see the pearl effect in pictures (can see it a little in the emblem pic), however it looks beautiful nonetheless!

We need to have a meet and great out here in the west. :metal:
That would really give me the incentive to at least get it on the road. :metal:

Re: Progress on my woman's '65 Short/Fleet.

I really enjoy this thread!
I showed it to my wife because not only does she help me with my projects (see our engine swap on my 66 Tempest in my CarDomain link) but she has her own 72 LeMans that she wrenches on.

I told my wife that if she doesnt work on her own car, then everyone will know that it is really MY car, I just let her drive it... after that she started getting her hands dirty

Great build tho, and congrats on it.
Glad to hear you got out of the shoot out safe and sound too... things are messy down there for sure!
