The new gray and black '65 fleetside is a 350 with a TH400 trans, ps, pb, front disc, rear drum, but it's a little more polished (way more chrome), and geared more for the highway. I almost bought your gray one when it was on eBay. He asked me to bid it up for him in exchange for giving me a picture of the ID number...seemed sketchy so I backed off. Glad that it worked out for you though. I love the color.

My 65 Panel

5 lug, Ridetech airbags, 305 V8 700R4, a/c, p/s, disc brakes, custom seats, finished/upholstered interior, electric exhaust cut outs, big ole stereo with subwoofer, completely redone wiring harness, alum radiator... lots more. Runs rides and drives tip top. Can drive anywhere in comfort. Gets ~18mpg at ~70mph on the freeway.

This 65 was at the Big BearLake Car SHow this weekend. The original owner had it restored exactly how it was when new. :metal::metal:

Very nice! Although I see a few things that aren't "exactly" how it would've been new (per the original/factory restoration thread). Awesome that it still has the original owner.

Whatever he spent, he got his money's worth. That is the most spectacular bodywork/paint finish I've ever seen on one of these trucks.

I am new to the forum but not to hot rodding here is my latest, it is a 62 G M C short fleet side I bought it about a week or so ago and have put in a blue print engineering 400 H.P. small block this truck has been inside stored for the past 20 plus years according to the guy I got it from.

I joined this site in 2009 and then forgot about it while I worked on other things. I am now working on this project truck a 1964 Chevy C10. I have no idea anything about it except I picked it up at an auction.

1960 Studebaker Lark behind it and beside it is a 1950 Hudson and in the garage is a 1967 Mustang that I am working on also. I do love the Studebaker's.
