I bought this at an antique shop. They had it labeled as a bacon press :lol:. I hate when all they know about a thing is they want a lot of money. Well, they didn't want a lot for this lightweight aluminum bacon press with slots to make it even lighter. It's special made for those who don't want their bacon flat but with just slightly less wave to it :lol:. It's a doggone pot strainer... obviously!!

I picked up a dirt screen in Montgomery, NY, just south of you. It was interesting how much the people and terrain in your part of the country reminded me of here. I met a lot of great people.

Found this photo of my C10 from 20 years ago. That old bed probably hauled 40 tons of material to landscape this yard.

I forgot how dark the windows were. Reminds me the day I was pulled over by a trooper, she was hot. License? Yep. Proof registration & insurance, sorry. Your tag on the license plate is five years old, you got me. No side mirrors, I know it. Windows too dark, I could have your truck towed, bummer. Go home, only if you come with me:lol:, JK.

Me neither. Was up In the north country everything is blurry now but there were volcanic rocks everywhere. We just rode with no real destination

Yeah, people think California is LA and New York is NYC. Both are huge states. There's Indian reservations, farmland, wine country, and mountains in New York State. New York means NYC to people. That's why I say New York State for everywhere else. You only know what you hear about a place. I can be at the Baltimore Inner Harbor in less than an hour and it is a world apart from where I live in Central Maryland. What people know is Baltimore. MD is a tiny little state with a huge amount of history and diverse geography. Miniature America.

I knew that, have seen pics of your area as well as different parts of upstate NY, some beautiful country there.

Been to NYC 1 time here's what I remember:

Traffic was a sea of yellow taxi cabs and buses.

Street lights lit 24/7 during daylight hrs because the buildings are so tall that unless the sun was directly overhead it's like dim evening light all during daylight hrs.

Statue of Liberty is not nearly as big as the photo's make it out to be, but she is beautiful and will choke you up looking at her.

After I visit NYC I like to get home and take a shower right away. All we see where I live is NY and NJ plates since the Pandemic.
