i WOULD LIKE A DOUBLE SINGLE CHROME BED BAR WITH KC'S I KNOW THEY WERE HUGE IN THE 80'S BUT I LOVED THEM.:metal:

Do any of you Dallas Texas guys know this truck? I took this pic about 2 years ago, and have only seen it 1 other time going down the highway. I'm wondering about lift and tire size. It has inspired my 2WD to 4WD conversion!

Yea, it could be that, or it could be the fact that I put those wheels on there in 1985..... I am thinking you are right on that one... maybe I can talk the wife into getting rid of the cat, so we don't have any more damage like that....

Here is my 73 Stepside. This was in 1991 time frame. I am completely rebuilding from the frame up. About this time next year, I will have all the new pictures.

I love the 1973 models best... Also, great color- really fits the truck.

The wheels remind me of this truck- regrettably not mine...

15x10 rear, 15x8 fronts

275/60/15 rear, 245/60/15 fronts

relocated rear spring perch/shackles in the rear. drop spindles and 2" coils up front. I did have to trim the leading edge of lower A-arms to clear the inside of the tires on a knock to knock turn.

Don't know the color. What I did was take the gas lid door to the paint store to get it color matched. It looks to me to be a similar blue to what was available in 1979.:sumo:

my 77 i picked up over the weekend. its got 60k on the clock, 6/3 on the tree. needs some floor work to get it on the road. need to find a nice stock grill for it. then i will work out the other bugs and then drop a couple of inches.
