Seems odd that the tires are listed 3 times on the spid- and the paint is listed as white/blue/white?

I've seen that with tires on spids before. Probably aplant thing. I think the roof was painted at some point cause with the 481 paint it should have a white roof. Looks like great truck and if the Canadian diollar wasn't at 30% + exchange I'd be seriously looking at this truck.

exactly what greg said - roof originally white. same with tires - for some odd reason they get listed sometimes, incl the spare. maybe someone figured out way back when that we'd be oohing and ahing over SPIDs 40 some odd years later, so they wanted to fill a few more lines... :) C'mon Greg, if you move down here, there is no exchange rate - but(!) you'd have to give up on all that snow.

and on the A and C pillars which clearly show the old white as well. I'm assuming all the blue (and the roof) was (re)painted blue at some point, except for maybe the inside of the bed. Must been an earl scheib masking job. But don't really care about the paint, just what's underneath - looks pretty solid.

Looks just like someone switched beds on my 69 long stepper, right down to the color and toolbox. Would be cool to have them parked side by side at my place but can't swing the funds right now.

67 4x4 step side. Pictures aren't the best but appears to be a short box. Its a Minnesota truck, so rust is a given, but it might be worth a look.

This truck has a .30 over350 ci with an 87 tuned port injection intake with a FAST controler. HEI ignition. Of the three factory cams available for the tuned port motors, this one has the higher performance one w/new lifters, double roller timing set, headers, dual exhaust, backed by an 87, 700r4 overdrive transmission, mild shift kit new torque converter, trans cooler, backed by 3.73 12 bolt open rear end.

New rear brakes, wheel cylinders and hubs, new front brakes, new master cylinder, power booster and proportioning valve, new radiator w/electric fan and aluminum shroud. New 110 amp alternator. New starter. New front bumper w/fog lights. Headlights are H4s.
Rebuilt speedometer. All gauges work. New outer heater box w/new fan and heater core. New heater, radiator hoses and new serpentine belt.

The front steering and suspension are all new including the steering box. The rear suspension has not been redone.

Fenders front and rear are 68 because I like the clearance light look and they are hooked up. Louvered tail gate. New front windshield w/new seal, new rear windshield is a tinted slider w/a new seal.

New under dash wire harness as well as all front new wire harness from American auto wire.
New reapolstered diamond stiched seat, new dash and arm rests.
The doors are the only body parts I haven't dealt with.
They are just next on the list to referbish.

The wheels are 15x8 powder coated by les schwab w/ new chevy caps and the tires are new in the rear, 275x60x15, the fronts are fairly good, 255x60x15. It has a recent front end alignment when the front end was rebuilt.

The truck has keyless entry electric door locks w/remote start as well as cruise control. All side glass is good. It has the common rust areas , rockers,cab corners and kick panel but not terrible.

All the items mentioned in this post have no more than 6800+ miles on them right now.

I drive this daily. It's dependable. It's not a show truck by far. I wanted the, on the edge rat rod, look and for the most part, it is. It needs new window and door seals. Not a big expence issue.

I have a clear, unbranded title in my name.
I do not have to sell this truck. I have a 67 4x4 that I'm real happy with and this little toy is starting to take a back seat so maybe it's time to let it go.

I agree. This isn't a truck for someone that doesn't enjoy working on them a little, but if someone DOES enjoy tinkering, this seems to be a very good price, with or without the camper.

If that was in CA I would be on it, I don't need another project, but a 4 bolt crate L31 engine with tow a built 700R4 would make that a perfect light cross country tour truck. Maybe air bag helpers in the rear for heavier loads...for towing more projects home...

I'm almost certain I've posted it before - it's been for sale forever it seems, at same price. Would love to see it returned to its original blue interior, would be pretty sharp. However, the ad (now) clearly states it has a skipped title - selling with BOS only, but has the previous owner's MT title... Ya just gotta ask, WHY NOT just go title it in your own name? This is probably why I passed back then. Anyway, nice truck.

Me too and I like it. I don't like the 72 door panels as I prefer the scroll flat panels. I like this combo and it gives me strength to redo my 72 the way I like it. I'm starting on a frame off tomorrow. I appreciate this guy that built this going off path as its perfect in my book. If not then close.
