Worth 3x asking price of $2500 in parts. For those who missed it --it was a decent running 54 flatbed. with 4 speed on floor and what appeared to be a really good condition overall. Ad said all original and daily driver. (funny how $2500 is about pocket change nowadays).

If a board member got it please post!!

That truck has been for sale for a long time. Somehow, it pops up in virtually every craigslist search location.

Problem is, no one comes to Maine to buy any kind of vehicle ;)

Salt does what salt does....

So, noting your location as Texas/Maine, don't suppose you're headed up there any time soon!? ;) It is a nice truck and I'd like to own it - it's a great combo. The rockers may have been done professionally, they look fine, but the half-hearted paint effort makes me suspicious of overall quality. Having said that, if it were a little lest pricey, I might also be asking you if you had a trailer... :)

This truck was for sale before I bought mine in April of 2016! I believe he was asking about 5k more back then. Nice truck, but that's a lot of cash.

On the road home driving thru Virginia now.

We stay in South Portland during the summer, living on our ol' boat. Too dang hot for me in Texas during the summer...

FWIW, here's the SPID for this 67 K20. Was originally solid ivory exterior with blue paint/blue vinyl interior (nice combo). I am not confident that's the original 327 still in there - hard to tell with the manifold swap. But note that a po actually wrote "350 ci" on the SPID next to the 327 RPO - I guess in case he forgot what he replaced the original engine with...? Anyway, really like 67-68 K20s and this was a nice one in its day. Seller very good with responding, we chatted a bit - I am/was interested, but too many other projects in the long run, none that I'm willing to replace with this truck. Anyway, wanted to share the SPID for awareness.

Jocko, I see it lists power steering. I have never seen P/S on a 67-68 4x4 before. I didn't think it was even offered until '69 on a 4x4? I wonder what the set up looks like? Would it have manual box with the power assisted slave cylinder like the early 2wd? Very interesting.

It also doesn't list the body side moldings.

All wheel bearings were serviced and replaced as needed. Original owners manual and factory paperwork. Clean Washington title. Collector plates.

There is much that has been done to the truck that has not been listed. I tried to high light the main points of the build. This truck has one first place in class at almost every car show it has been to. This is one of the nicest fully restored K20's you will ever find. Full rotisserie, nut and bolt frame off restoration. All work listed was professionally done with receipts for documentation. This is a investment grade example mint show quality Chevy K20, the nicest I have ever seen.... I am considering selling my truck to the next care taker as I have acquired new vehicles for my collection and am running out of space. The truck needs nothing. The truck runs, drives, and looks better than it did win it was new. $26,999 OBO

Seems like a lot of time and money were spent on this build. $25,000 would be a steal. I haven't checked my lottery tickets from last night maybe I could be the proud new owner. Lol:chevy:

Hi Joe! I seen a 68 4x4 with the power assist P/S. Same as the 2wd. But, it does have different brackets than the 2wd.

Joe, will look at the few eng pics I have and see if I can tell anything - if I can, will post it. I’m not convinced it still has the original motor, so might not prove anything anyway if the brackets were from the donor.
