I'm sure it will dirty up just fine..... Sure is comfortable though... And the correct sittin' height sure makes a difference!

Looks nice.

Pulled the cab and doors off the chassis and set it on a dolly I made. Then transported it to paint jail.

Hey 73737373, is that your permanent plate or is that just for show on your bumper there? If so how did you get it registered with the original plate?

Thanks,
Charles.

OK will allow you to use an old license plate. You have to get a "real" tag and keep it in the truck w/you. It costs $21.50 to use the old one.

Nice. Go to their website and they'll let you post before/after pics. I sent them some a couple weeks ago, but haven't checked the site.

More pics.... Was quite a bit of decay along the bottom of the skin so had my upholstery guy sew a strip along the bottom. I thought the mismatching colors was better than a ragged finish.

I glued the skin to a metal door panel. The wrinkles are from where the foam separated from the vinyl and I did not peel all that off from the backside of the skin to reglue it. I did it on the driver side door skin, and it's a miserable job. There's the vinyl, the foam and then the paper, and the foam/paper is heat sealed to the embossed areas on the door panel. Hard to explain.

I need some matching color estucheons!!

Hood. Not sure if I'm going to be able to save it, or have to get it repainted..... I did the passenger side and it came out OK. The spots that have paint on them shine like new. Found myself buffing a lot of black primer to a shine.... Very delicate balance to get the dead paint off to find some that I can work, without going all the way to the bare metal.

Finished these up yesterday. I didn't notice they screwed up and gave me 3/4" bolts for the hooks gotta go back and get 5/8".

The knob on the hubs has some pits in them that took black paint when I sprayed the letters. they look good enough 4 me.
Wrap m box m and on the self they both go for a while till I'm ready for them.

Just about the prettiest thing on these trucks is a refinished wood floor bed w/the stainless strips.

Replaced the transmission mount. Some of you might get a kick out of my sophisticated "shade tree mechanic" jack.

I REALLY like it.

It stumps me, though.
Then again, I'm pretty loggy tonight.
