The scammers on both sides of Craigslist have made it difficult to buy vintage iron in less rust prone areas and a royal pain to sell stuff too.
I can't count the number of "I want to pay with a check or Paypal." texts I get on stuff I offer for sale when the Ad specifically states "CASH ONLY!!! No Paypal. No Checks. If you overpay me it's a gratuity."

After a real PayPal transaction is made you get a real email from PayPal. The scammers get your PayPal info (your email) and send you a fake PayPal email, hoping you will click a link to some phishy places.
