The thing I like the most is I can take it on and off by myself by hand. The one on my 2wd is fiberglass and have to be careful using the bobcat and forks

very sharp!
like the black flares and canopy, very similar to what my stepper looks like, kinda what i'm doing with my new truck as well, red with black details

Which bed liner product did you use? That layed out pretty nicely.[/QUOTE]

up north a lot of guys use this for 2 reasons, it's pretty durable and most important- cheap. i bought a small can for the bumpers and sacrificed an old detail gun to paint them. pretty tough, you can wack it with a wrench and don't do any damage. would i do a bed with it, no. pretty tough to get a liner better than Rhino or Line-x. i've had a Line-x in my crew for 15 yrs and when i can afford a bedliner for my new truck, it too will get a Line-x. i have a buddy who sprayed the floor of his jeep with this stuff, it does seem to be holding up very good so far
Attachment 2341082

for the flares i just used their spray cans. i find if i spray from about 12-15" away, it fogs down with a real nice almost factory like texture. total cost for one small can and 2 sprays was around 50 bucks with taxes

Said it’s all we got others must have walked . Ask when they will get more deer in headlights . He calls the manager and we look inside the box all the paperwork and a little bottle of two stroke oil but no scrench . He says 25% off and keep your coupon . So I got a $449 saw for $336.75

can't buy those in commifornia anymore, thanks to our great govenator Newscum. hope you enjoy your new toy, out here gotta be battery or electric.

Good info, thanks. I like that you can get a smooth satin finish with it. Good protection and looks painted rather than textured. I assume you can hold the gun/can a little further away for more texture.

This isn’t my new saw that’s way to small to mill with this is a modified Husky 395xp 94cc saw .

Just an aluminum ladder I screwed a couple of 1 x 4 onto it and use GRK wood screws to anchor it to the log this is used on the first cut to get a nice flat surface.

Maybe not -- apparently gas chainsaws 45cc or larger are still allowed.

Read that also and anything over 25hp will still be available . I see lots of big cube tractors and lawn mowers in California’s future. Be great having a 30 hp zero turn mower

I went to a lady's house to buy a used overhead door for my shop yesterday. She also had this. Her husband died a year ago while having hip replacement surgery.

I bought the door but not the truck. My wife was proud of me..... :)

The only thing she said is that she was offered $4k for it and she told the guy no. 6 would probably buy it, maybe 5.

Yes, she needs the money to see if she can keep from losing the property. She also has a nice Chevy Impala Convertible and a Harley of some kind.

Well, that's sad to read she is in danger of losing her home/property. Lose her husband during a, normally, routine surgery and now might lose the home ? Any neighbors/community/family doing a fund raiser for her ?

Not that I know of. She is a member of the local fire department in the town where she lives and works at a local meat locker/retail store. The locker/retail store is where I talked to her.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

As a member of the fire dept., I would think they could sponsor a pancake breakfast benefit for her. Seems fire dept.'s used to do things like that for local folk. Or is VFW's, American Legions, Boy Scouts ???
Maybe she isn't letting on about her financial situation to get help. Us old folk can be like that...

Don’t think she will have a problem selling the truck . If it were closer I’d be all over it .

Finished up this seasons maple syrup . 5 quarts today and a little over 3 gallons put up

Got tired of the moss on the bricks in front and back of the house, and bought a cheap pressure washer. Works pretty good. No pics, yet. Before is embarrassing, after isn't done.

Phase 3 of the add on/remodel. Dining room and pantry are done and the she side shed addition is finished. On to the "He side". Chris wanted tounge and groove poplar. Got the main room walls covered over the last week and started on the bath today. I didn't think I would like it, but I really do. It is a pain but once it is up, I can walk away. Here is a look at the progress so far. I drew up a few renderings to show them and we still of course lack all the trim. I will build a 10' long bottom cabinet with a sink on the left wall like the drawing. I built some built-in shelving because there is no room for upper cabinets, due to the shorter walls.

Looks like fun. I make stickers and t shirts now and then. Not a side business, just stuff for family and friends.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I've been pressure washing the concrete block wall fences and front and back patios on my property. First day- guck spattered into my eyes, got wet trousers and shoes. Second day, wet trousers and shoes (raincoat and hat added). Third day, nothing (rubber boots added). The place is looking better, but I'm not really happy about washing the other 200 feet of fence, and there are enough voids in the mortar that need to be filled that I feel like hiring someone. People say, "No job too small", but I don't believe that. Sack of mortar, cake icing spewer and knee pads are in my future. :waah:

Thanks Leon, the other shed was sheetrock and that wore me out.
And the drawing part, when I was a kid, my favorite toy was an etch-a-sketch. Now it is "paint" on the computer. It helps to have a plan. The ceiling would be easy but not at an angle. He wants galvanized barn tin. Oh joy.
