Finally got a new windshield installed. Glass company came out to my shop(10 miles from town) installed the windshield. $150.00 total. Took him 30 min and he did a great job.

I stared at it longingly as I stumbled past the shop on my way to work. I imagine I'll do the same when I get home at 10:30.

Rebuilt both drivers and passenger side wing windows. All new rubber seals and rivits. Took about an hour and a half per side. The hardest part was getting the window into the channel with the rubber seal!.

Here are some pics!

Using signals in Cali is like giving out secrete information to the enemy... besides, when you signal, it alerts the other drive to speed up and block you...

I installed ONE furd mirror on the door. I need to adjust the hole a little bit and then duplicate the measuremens on the driver side....

I bolted down the cover over the manual transmission. My cab was an automatic so I had to drill holes. I then tried to install the gas tank but realized it had some weep holes in it. Today I will weld up holes and pour in some gas tank sealer. Hopefully that should take care of that. Does anyone know why these gastanks behind seat were not painted?

Got my seatbelt retractors finished. Turned out good. They started out as Parchment colored. Props to 454Stepside for them.

Took a clay bar to the hood area to see how it would work....great. Building a frame for my new leather seats. Washed and fueled her and went for doughnuts and coffee. Whew, I'm tired.

I bought these as a complete set tonight. I remember back in the day we would buy them from a small tire shop here in A****er. I can check for you and see if they still sell them. They also used to sell them with a blue bowtie.

Years ago I briefly worked for a local Chevy dealer. I was getting some parts one day and a customer was buying center cap emblems. They were perfect! Black, gold bowtie, and gold ring (these look like gold bowtie and silver[?] ring). I asked the parts guy what application they were for and he said the customer was buying them for a Monte Carlo. I don't know if I still have the records from the first couple of six-hole ralleys we put them on, but I know they were for a Monte Carlo.

Yes these are gold bowtie and sliver ring. Also silver outline around the bowtie.
