Always been a Chevy PU man since I drove my employers 73 C10 Cheyenne Super. I had an 86 that I got tired of fudging the emissions on so I bought a 71C20. Turned into a rust bucket and would have cost me 15K to repair but still has life in it so I gave it to my son who is in the process of working on it. I decided to buy a new to me 72 C20 with the package I wanted.
SBC, auto tran, HD suspension, dual saddle tanks and setup for towing. I bought it out of S. California so it is just about free of rust. I have had it painted and installed a TH400 w/GV OD although I am having problems getting the GV running due to an electrical problem. I replaced the dash wiring harness and modified the wiring to run the TH400 as it org had a TH350. Added a tonneau cover and am going to put a 383 stroker in it that is on the engine stand by next spring. |

Geezer#99 sent me the link to upload photos to replies. This is my 69 C-10 Custom, 307, auto, no air. I purchased it from the original owners grandson, his father bought it 1989 form his father-in-law and painted it 1990. All original except the paint, it was two ton maroon and white when new. 43K miles. I plan to use it to haul my 69 Triumph Daytona to shows. I would like to thank geezer#99, mechanicman, captianfab, and all of the other folks who helped me get it running better.

Here's some of our trucks over at the Hidden Hot Rod Shop.
The First truck pictured is Pats 67. Tim just finished a 5.3, 4L60E, aluminum radiator, gas tank relocation, suspension, exhaust, disc brakes, on and on. It's a Survivor-Mod. These other 3 trucks of the 4 pictured have Vortec 5.3s except Tim's other truck in the fore-ground, it's still got the original straight six. Supposedly there's onna be 6 of us at Friday's last Zeke's Cruise in of the season. I 'll take some pictures to post |

I went to a fun little NW Cruise with a few friends yesterday. It was fun to get out and drive! Here are a few I took of the truck.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
They are Rev Classic 106 wheels. Yes 22x9 & 20x8.5. I think they're the perfect offset for a stepper, but would need a rear spacer for a fleetside bed.
Thanks |

My 69. It came with these 24" wheels. I need to replace them with some rally wheels as soon as I can find some.

I'm new to the forum, I picked this up about a month ago. It had supposedly been sitting in a carport for 20 years. It had rock hard bias-ply tires and a few other assorted issues but basically a solid truck. I had to get new tires just to drive it so I figured might as well get Torque Thrust Ds while I was at it.
