Not many places open but the place we eat at was called the Boatyard. Had a nice bottle of wine and great seafood. Valet parking only. Should have seen the guys face when he saw my quad cab 8 foot bed dodge 3500 . He parked it all by itself . Nothing around it

Truck had alot of hidden rot on the. under side . Cab courners were repaired and popping . Floors and rockers were suprisingly good as was the bed . Just starting around the inner wheel well. Engine had a miss and buffed blue when started and goosed. Really I would have paid no more than 4k for it. I didnt even make an offer. So I came home with an empty trailer.

Going to look at one in Virginia. My nieces neighbor has a 72 c10 Cheyenne swb he bought in 75. Supposedly original truck . But Im putting my wife's Yamaha and my Goldwing in the trunk bed . Whether it pans out or not I'm leaving the truck and trailer at her place and going to the Key West. Buddy of mine has a house there. Done with the cold

My first impression was, that looks like a heck of a deal, then I noticed it’s been listed for 2 months. Makes me wonder why it hasn’t sold? Unless his price was way high and he just lowered it?

The current two month period is just the most recent, it has been for sale for a long time off and on. It had a 3/4 ton twin for sale a while back, like that color combo. I’d look closely, in person if possible, but barring some unseen problem, sure seems like a decent deal. I really like the squarebody k’s (also)!

Thanks for all the replies gents! I feel like Ive seen it on CL before too, but the ad claims he's the 2nd owner... maybe it's been listed a few times by the current owner.

Im going to give it a look-see, I am in the process of selling my '70 SWB, need something with a little more "truck" and a little less hot rod. I'll report back if I find any more details.

I've been digging through my parts 67-72 Chevy/GMC truck parts and found another Hickey Sidewinder winch. I put a new drive motor and controller on it, stuck it away but never used it. I don't have the mounting brackets but they are easily made. I have one on my 72 4X4. This is the winch that shows a 72 K5 Blazer winching up a tree on there brochure. For all the 67-72 GM truck enthusiast, this is the winch to have. These are getting hard to find. Email if interested.

Not likely a scam if there is a phone number and he’s asking for calls and/or texting. The scam ads are usually email reply only to get you to type your info, the scammer doesn’t want to talk to anyone.
