It always is! This guy had tons of stuff. Good thing I didn't need much or it could have got expensive real quick. That's a good looking hood. Think I'm getting myself another one this week as well. Lol

I was able to use a piece the guy gave me when I bought the bedsides. I have to bend up a separate piece to get the length I needed. This kind of shows how long my panel is. The teal panel was from a long bed I believe and is 24" long from the edge to the wheel arch. I needed a panel 42." Pretty happy how it turned out so far considering I've never done this before.

Then I started working on the front side of the wheel arch. I had previously cut the bottom off since it was all rotted.

After some work I was able to fit the first part of the bedside. Once again I need more than what a standard 8' bed has. Hoping to get the rest tacked on tomorrow.

Got the passenger side all welded up and did some grinding. Also got the driver side donor panels cut out. Hopefully knock those out tomorrow. Little over 2 weeks till the show I'm trying to make it to. Not enough time in the day.

It looked more original that way but I hated doing all this work and then it not lay out even or flat. Kinda defeats the purpose. Lol

Worked on the truck a ton this weekend. Added some Glow Shift digital guages, reworked some front suspension, fixed an air leak, did some odds and ends, and then started reworking some rear suspension. Added some spacers to the rear bag mounts which gained me another 2.5" of lift. Have to redo the shock mount but that won't take long. Still lays out as planned.

Got everything all braced up. Driver side is ready for a floor plan. Decided not to make one just yet and went about mounting the gas tank.

I'm usuing 18g galvanneal which runs just under $20 a sheet. It doesn't rust which is cool. As far as making it to the show. Not sure. It's gonna be tough. I needed some extra help today/small miracle and I found this shirt so it only seemed the right thing to wear. Lol

Got the last of the wiring done (except finish the headlights/marker lights) and mounted the fuse box. Also finished up mounting the gas tank and got it all plumbed in. Added some gas and it fired right up and actually ran better than it ever has. Excuse the crappy strap holding the filter down. No parts store had one so I made that thing real quick till I can order one
