Pete I don't recall seeing a three point seat belt setup in a Blazer. Do you have any pictures?

These shoulder belts are OEM style similar to a pickup and are essentially a second lap belt strapped between the top and the floor pan. Four points :)

I'll post pics once installed.

Re: 1972 Medium Blue Highlander Blazer Resto

Both the Blazer and the K20 left today to WI. I'd like to say a big thank you for following along.

Big thanks to Eric, Robert, Barry and the other guys at Mild to Wild Inc (http://www.mildtowildinc.com/index.cfm) for their excellent work and patience during our second build together. You guys are the best.

Here are some parting photos. I'll post more up as I get settled in up in WI. Andy at Muscle Car Restorations also deserves a thanks for his help and willingness to transport my trucks up to his facility in WI (http://www.musclecarrestorations.com)

Added this for Brad and Eric

You guys and the 70 Blazer you built were the inspiration for this build.

Thank you!

Dale thanks so much. Hate to say it but the green blazer and my GMC went in a package deal to a guy in Ft Worth, TX who is a friend of my younger brother. I was hoping to find a home in WI with enough ready space to accommodate all the vehicles but that didn't happen so downsized. Sigh.

Here's an after photo of the B pillar that looked so awful on arrival. Barry did a great job refitting the quarter panel at the pillar.

Absolutely amazing job. It's a shame to have to sell the others but you still have the cream of the crop. Plus, I don't have to beg to buy the green Blazer! LOL......

Outstanding build, the amount of nos parts you used is amazing. Thanks for the kind words. Enjoy that little one, they grow up fast.

Pete what a beautiful job. I love the 76 Ball...instead of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants we should have the Brotherhood of the 76 Ball. It should be the exclamation point on every completed build on the board! Let me echo Eric and thank you for the kind words...but you were the inspiration for us, not vice versa. This is a benchmark build. It's a text book example of how you take a special truck and do it right. Thanks for your detailed sharing...evening as you pack for a cross country move. Hope all goes well with the move. Little E is such a cutie pie. You need a big block and a 1/2T SWB 4WD to complete the set. Either one would be a perfect father daughter project. Outstanding work and safe travels my friend.

Pete - Looks fantastic!! Back a few pages ago you showed the repaint of the top. Do you have any information you can share on how you achieved that texture? Looks really good! Thanks in advance!
