The truck is is paint & body jail! Seems like it's taking forever but photo's like these keep me excited. It's just about ready for final prime & then paint. Can't wait!

Also Loaded up the chassis to bring it John Bouchard Jr. racing engines to get it's final button up before we get to hear it roar! Should be a beast.

I really like that chassis, and those wide wheels...

I bet. I'm looking forward to the finished product as well. Post a video clip for us when you get it running.

John is getting the engine all buttoned up as well. Hope to have the cab forward painted by LS Fest. There a lot left to do before SEMA!

I was curious what you're doing with various factory parts you've removed or aren't using, & then I went back through the thread to find where you mentioned building another truck. I know that all focus is on this one right now, but is that still your future plan?

I had a guy make me a great offer on the long bed rolling chassis with the engine & 5 Speed. He rolled it back to texas and I rolled that extra bread into this build. Most of the factory sheet metal is on the truck now besides the front quarters (Which i still have). I'm keeping the original bench for my shop.

Pete came a looooong way this week. Paint when on the cab & doors and some interior assembly has begun. Roped the windows and it's really starting to look like a truck again. We drug it up to LS fest where it made it's first public appearance in the Holley Booth. Some scumbag broke in and stole my seats in the middle of the night and damaged the passenger door. Thankfully Holley stepped up and is paying to replace them since it was a display in their booth but still makes ya mad and makes you not trust people. Here's some progress pics.

Wow, sorry to hear about the seats & door. It's sad to know there are scumbags like that roaming around this world. On a positive note, the truck is coming together nicely though!

Truck looks great...that's crazy someone took your seats and messed up the door. Glad to hear Holley is taking care of you though.

So I haven't posted anything in awhile as I've been slammed and got caught up in work and the SEMA crunch. Truck is 95% finished but it showed really well and has gotten quite a bit of coverage that I wasn't expecting but was happy to see. Tri-Works hot rods really stepped up and helped Brent and I get the truck to the finish line. I have a tremendous amount of respect for builders that turn out truly high quality builds quickly and Tri-Works Hotrods is that kind of operation. Here's some shots of where the truck sits right now.
