Awesome build thread!! I really need to find me a 6.0 to place in my truck but I guess for now its going to be a traditional 350 or 400 small block.....unless I find a great deal anyway. Your in Tulsa and about 1 hour and 45 minutes from me,I may want to check it out in person next time Im in the area if its possible ( I will pm soon). I like your gas tank, and the body work is coming along really nice, kudos to the body guys.

I noticed the driveshaft coming out of the tranny ran up hill......it appears you may have to alter the trans mount to raise the tailshaft up or really pay close attention to the rear pinion angle when its all said and done........just an observation,I know when you have it on the ground with all the body panels and such on it you will be able to check it better.

Subscribed!! Keep us posted.

I have never owned anything that will blow the back tires off so easy and for so long:lol:

those were my exact words to 68 ss about killer...in the short time i had it it was simply a thirill to drive...can't imagine what the ls7 will be like;)

umm, not quite sure what your asking....but hope this helps...im running a autometer electric speed-o and the signal is coming from the PCM (VSS output), another way is to tap into the VSS wire and then to the speed-o signal input.....if that doesnt help, LMK and ill try to answer what your asking..;)

I hate that. I lost mine for about a month. The truck was not ready to be run yet so no big deal. I found it in the key box under a business card. I still haven't made some copies!

I'm curious why you didn't shave the side marker lights. I know they were standard on the '68 but the large rear window was optional in '67.

At least keep people guessing! I love the way your truck is comming out.

Can't wait to see it finished.

Great buildup thread! You were making such great progress until the truck was sentenced to 8 months in painter's prison. Any recent updates?
