Trying to keep my foot out of it durring the break in. 200 miles into it it drives really nice. I have a 16 inch fan but it's not keeping up. I'll switch to a dual and I'm sure that will help me out a bit with temp. It stays at 190-210 with a 165 thermostat. I'm going to put new tail lights, then paint the hoo an some touch ups.

Working on some finishing touches on the nova. Installing new led tails then I'll do some touch up paint on the tail panel and hood.
Worked on polishing the wheels last night. This one took about an hour to do.

What's up Phillip!! How's it going man?
The best polish I have found I called white diamond. A polishing cone or wheel on the drill and boom. Then a little hand polishing and your done.

hey man, i'm hangin' in there  ....on my old '88 S-10 Blazer with 17" aluminum Eagle Alloys (TT-2's), i used the Mother's Powerball on the drill, along with their metal polish...came out nice!....before selling the Budnik billets on my current S-10, i polished them by hand with the same stuff...the Budniks are nicer quality and were thus easier to deal with

Dude I'm always needing people. My right hand guy just got his deployment papers, so I'm looking again.
I love working on cars. I was an insurance agent for 11 years and always knew I'd get out from behind that desk. It was a very good business to be in I just wanted to do something With cars.

that's crazy! i might have to run that info by the wifey and see what she thinks ;) ....my wife actually works in insurance, which is how we ended up in Pensacola right after college...she's a commercial marketing manager...if i knew there was a good opportunity there for her, i'd love to move back to that area...not sure we'll be here forever, but she's got a really good job right now that doesn't drive her miserable like the past ones...i figure we'll move back a little closer to home once kids are in the picture, but we enjoy it here right now...it's a nice city with lots to do, and lots of attractions within a relatively short drive....just wish i could find that "golden" opportunity for myself, haha

I've learned most of the time those opportunities are created by oneself.

So are you ready to lay out that 66 of yours? Lol

i hear ya....as for the '66, she will be staying mostly original-looking...i just wanna have it be a nice, reliable truck that i can hop in and go wherever without worry...and seeing fewer and fewer "original" trucks, i think it'll stand out in a crowd...sadly, it's still sitting in my dad's garage in North MS...this November will be 2 years since i've driven it :( ....hoping my dad gets time to finish buttoning things up this year so i can get it back on the road
