Re: S!ck5 65 rebuild
yeah i have to figure out the whole center support bearing spacer/driveshaft pinon angle already has a 2'' spacer but still has a shimmy when halfway down ! ! don't see the point in having a bagged truck if I can't roll it laided out !! This is why I hate buying projects off people always have to redo most of what was done ... everyone Ive talked to with the porterbuilt stuff has a way different answer about what they did !!

Re: S!ck5 65 rebuild

and still will be as soon as i get it back on the road again. i just hate spending money twice on the same thing. Wish i wound of known the first time the engine moves foward about 2 inches. O well I going to be working on the engine today and finish of the valves then adjust the lash and cross my fingers and hope it turns on. After that i got to MOD my exhuast i notice it is way to close to the lower Aarm bushing. im thinking of putting my weld skill to use lmao. Im laughing cause im green at welding. but its only exhuast the worst thing that can happen is that i would see it in my rear view. Another thing im wondering is how do you Guys lift the truck up if you happen to blow a bag or even a line? |
