well i got a lil more done
finished widening the front wheel tubs.. still need to work on the fenders a lil more make my fuel and tranny cooler lines installed throttle and tranny kickdown cables also i decided i didnt like the red spark plug wires so i got some black ones |

got my new tranny pan and dipstick installed you can see where the new mr gasket dip stick came with a plastic stick??!!?! mine was broke when i received it but i figured it would be better to just cut the stock one to the right length and reuse it.. the handle just holds it with a set screw also added some trim on my fenders around the cutout for the wheel tubs to clean that edge up |

also i ran my headlight and fan wires today and reinstalled my grill afterwards i decided to use the factory hole in the firewall for the headlight wires. the signal wires will now come through the firewall behind the hinges.. i will get pics of that later |

wow.. im glad i saved 20 dollars and bought the cheaper mr gasket one.. lol i figured that was the lokar had a metal stick.. that sux.. every other lokar part ive bought have all been nice quality though

just finished your build, awesome is the only word that comes to mind, engine is beautiful, you definitly got some skills, inner fenders made me think of the old superbirds.. keep up the great work.

That trim you added to the fender cut outs,,,,,how did you do that?
Did you use steel brake line, or solid metal rod? And I assume all the welds are on the underside? Man that really turned out smooth, an exceptional accent! I have not been able to stop thinking about it, because it looks so cool for such a small tweak. |
