Nice truck Kenneth. That color is cool... It looks like a charcoal or carbon color. Very unique.

Thanks man! Not sure what to say to that..... I'll admit, the paint looks a lot nicer on pictures than from close.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago on FleeBay and it arrived yesterday.

I'm looking for more of a work truck and possible tow rig for my race car. I'm off to the junk yard for some new wheels so I can try and get it through state inspection. The engine and trans seem to work well, but the exhaust setup is a joke and the valve seals are gone. It appears to be a 75 Truck 454 but it now has 1063 396/427 heads that should give it a good bit more HP and TQ.

My grandpa owned this since 1969, I inherited it 9 years ago. It has a PTO winch and is stock except for the saddle tanks and wheels. 327, 4 speed, 4.57 gears (Eaton Rear).

Nice find. Did you stumble across the truck or was it one of those "You' ve been after it for years" and the owner finally decided to pop ?
