Your not blind lol. I ordered two 3.5" to 4" neoprene couplers so I can put it in behind the filter. Sorry I forgot to mention it. The red couplers aren't really red either, they are more orange. It's a nice kit for the price.

Just need to clarify, The MAS is 3.5" and the tube is as I see 4". So from 4 to 3.5 to MAS and then 3.5 to 4"? That makes since. Just like to order it all at one time. Sorry if i'm being a pest.

Thank you for the answers, Mike!

Thanks Mike. Again, I appreciate you answering all of my exhaust questions. I found a muffler shop here in town that's going to install my exhaust. The guy has done numerous 67-72 trucks and quoted me a great price.

Yes, the MAS is 3.5". So I plan on going from 4" aluminum pipe to MAS to 4" filter. As soon as I recieve my order I will post a pic. I'm glad to help. I read through your build and looks great. You've made a lot of progress in a short amount of time.

Thanks:metal: I spent a lot of time tucking/securing the wiring harness and fuel system in the frame rails.

Amazon has really grown on me... I found a really nice coolant reservoir from Amazon made out of stainless steel with a sight glass/tube.

That's a lot cooler than mine. I order almost everything from Amazon or eBay. They have all the big venders on there and it's a one time card entry. I hate typing in my info all the time. I'm even an Amazon prime member. Pretty awesome!

I ended building one out of 1/4" aluminum plate and mounting it on the passenger side of the frame behind the cab. I wanted to make sure my +/- cables ran the same side as the starter. I made sure I grounded my cab, core support and engine to the frame. I also ran battery cables up to my engine harness/ECM connection behind my glove box.

I read through the reviews before I ordered it and there was some negative feed back because there was no way for the coolant to return to the radiator, so people added a hose inside the reservoir to fix the problem. The one I ordered showed up with the fix already;)

Mike, I forgot to mention, make sure you purchase the suggested clamp (moroso part number 63401) because the one that comes with it is really cheesy like the reviews said.

Here's a picture with the pickup hose in it.

Thanks for the info on the tank and hose Mark. I didn't realize until last night I have a battery right in the way of the recovery tank. I may have to come up with another plan.
Great job relocating the battery. I forgot you had done that.

I ordered the rest of my bed parts so I can send them to my painter and finally put my bed together. I am looking at going with "Birds Eye Maple" for my floor.

Thanks Keith... Your engine looks great. That LS motor is going to look good in your truck.

Yesterday My IDIDIT tilt column came in. I was able to get into the truck last night. Now I'm waiting on my Grant steering wheel and installation kit to show up.
I also ordered my AAW harness and Dakota Digital VHX instruments. After all of the research they seem to be the two best choices. I also like the fact everything is made in the USA:metal:

We have the same mind set as I picked AAW and VHX for my Blazer... I did forgo the steering column for now due to cost. As of right now the goal to have the Blzaer finished is the end of March. Do you have a completion date in mind yet?

Sorry, the picture I posted it wasn't complete. I will post an updated picture. I have the brake master cylinder/booster mocked in now. I will need to pull it on and off so I can figure out where I'm going to mount the master cylinder for my clutch.

I totally understand about the cost thing, I guess that's why I'm on year 4 for my build lol. Today I recieved my AAW harness and I'm really happy with everything it came with. This will keep me busy for a bit. My goal is to be driving the truck by the end of summer. My gauges were back ordered 3-4 weeks since I ordered the new analog clock. PM me if you ever get in the Henderson area. Love to see your blazer...
