By cutting down pickup weatherstrip, will you omit the molded end at the top of the rear door?
|
I can't really tell what part that is, but I hope you don't find more like that like that... Is that a fender well?

Re: PO has me PO'd
Close call, could have burnt my workshop and house down
My wife works me up from my nap saying she smelled smoke Opened the basement door and it was black with smoke Ran thru the basement into my workshop and saw fire, ran past 2 fire extinguishers on my way, the actual fire was contained on a carpet that was laying on the floor right under the charger, carpet was made of woven plastic, and you know what burning plastic smells like, still in my nostrils Oh crap I was in the shop a couple hours ago and the last thing I do is charge my head lamp, so its ready for the next day, done it hundreds of times So far damage is contained to the tire, which was on fire, harness inside engine bay, and paint My wife and I laid in our own bed last night thanking God. Could have been so much worse We survived a " LIFE CHANGING MOMENT" |
Re: PO has me PO'd
Golly! Fire is scary.

Re: PO has me PO'd
Thanks guys for checking in, really bummed at myself for letting this happen, but this is part of a build you don't consider
Ok, got my enthusiasm back Spent a long weekend upstate NY, visiting my sons family Recently fell off my DRZ, so my son took the dirt bike off of me, He found a Honda pilot for me four wheels much safer, and a hoot to drive He has 2 tracks on his property 1 a road course dirt and the other with jumps for dirt bikes Great fun slinging the pilot around the dirt https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...0b8b6b8e_c.jpg16974656994205608467690863341362 by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/97391199@N06 Back in the shop installed my rear window support now I have to get the window in, we'll see how that goes |
Re: PO has me PO'd

It was a blast to drive, not insane but controllable |
Re: PO has me PO'd
I would buy a Fl400r Pilot or Fl350 Odyssey if I found one around me I could afford. I bought a CBR1000rr motor to build my own, but never got around to it.

Re: PO has me PO'd
Revisited wind windows
Bottom channel slid on with ease, liberal amounts of Windex Holding between legs, and pulling with both hands, rear hand keeping pressure up to engage channel when you get this operation done, it will slide extremely easily, reapllications of windex is mandatory The tool i used is a new panel separater, used to help guide the rubber gasket, CAREFUL this could cut rubber so polish end of tool Revisited video several times Now I have to get the vertical https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...fec9ee7e_c.jpg16985023630998746133896727587967 by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/97391199@N06 |
