Took my Wife to breakfast at The St. Cloud Hotel on Saturday in the old truck. They are remodeling this Hotel that has sat vacant for a few years. They will have 36 rooms available when finished. It has quite an interesting history. https://unbridledholdings.com/hotel-st-cloud/

The Cardboard and the Math. :uhmk:  Your about 18% difference. Put some Marvel Mystery oil in #2 or maybe all of them. ;) Let it sit. Maybe a day or two. Crank it over (Without the plugs in. Then crank it up out in the wide open Spaces. Let it burn off the oil. Then do another Check. A leak down check will tell the real deal. I think the Mystery oil will be the (Sandpaper ) cure to keep you Putting down the road. |

I had a friend get ahold of me Friday night and ask if I was still looking for a rear bumper. We went to look at what he had gotten with an old International pickup . These are the pictures he sent me.

I didn't need the front one but I bought both of them anyway. After getting them home I set the rear up on some jack stands just to see what I needed to mount it. I will mount it a couple inches lower to clear the license plate.

After taking off the brackets and overrider, I used a flap wheel to clean of the surface rust and found this on the back , So they are GM bumpers.

I sprayed bed liner on the passenger side running board and set my new step plate on just for the picture... My wife asked if I did a before and after picture... I said "No!" and she said ...well you still have to do the driver side , So... I took a picture of that side before I sanded and sprayed it today. Once they have sat and cured for a few days then I will bolt the plates on.

Running Boards
Looking good .

Another Blue Chevy
No, THANK YOU for keeping this fine truck on the road where it belongs .
As I age out more and more I miss my 'B.I.T.S.A.' 1946 3100 series, it wasn't as pretty as yours but worked well and very hard, I used it as my shop truck in the 1970's & 1980's . I need to begin cleaning out my back yard of old things, sadly I'm not allowed to mention what here s they'll probably get scrapped, I'm all done selling things at the local swap meets . |

We took the truck to Canon City First Friday. Quite a few old Ford trucks there. This is a picture taken by a friend. I forgot to take any pictures. There's the '35 way back at the back of the line.
