My Dad has a real solid one that needs to be torn down and built. It's off the frame and in pieces already. A friend of his has a 40 coupe with a blower... crazy ride.

Your builds always move at lightening speed. It's amazing how you completed several projects while I'm still not even close to finishing mine.
I really like that tank. Looks very well made. Keep the pics coming.

Looks awesome. The rendering didn't show the tank recessed into the bed floor, but it looks good to me. What is that other panel on the passenger side of the gas tank for?

I haven't seen it detailed anywhere before, but how does the raised bed floor frame stay in place? Bolted down somewhere? Welded to the bed sides?

the tank is too tall and because the way I am doing my suspension the bottom of the bed in the center could be no lower then 9 inches from the top of the bed rail. So the tank has be counter sunk. The sub frame is bolted through the bed sides with stainless hardware. The entire bed frame is bolt together so I can pull it out and paint it or

Back in the car and drove home another 5 hrs. But Nate made it and picked up my parts. I am thankful he could do that or I would have had to drive 12 hrs to Az

I am going to start locating all the bolts and then I will run strap acrossed and dolt the bed floor down. As far as the gas tank goes dont worry about were it is sitting in the picture. It will be sunk down into the floor. The top of the tank will be even with the bed railshttp://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/...rbframe042.jpg

That is awesome that you are doing this. My mom told me one time she wanted a 4wd and a muddy field to do what she pleased. My mom has been given some bad news and I will go broke to make that dream of hers come true. So I am gonna do as much as i can to the truck i got to make this come true, its not easy on a peanuts pay scale.

All that matters is that you try to get it done for her. I am sure she understands.
