What kind of price would you guys give this suburban? Runs and drives all original 283 V6 Little rust some body work needed Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Post your pics of 64-66 Panels & Subs
1966 Chevrolet suburban / carryall from Oregon. This is a very rare factory built 4x4. only 948 of these were produced in 1966, of which only 530 of these were built with the barn door style rear doors making this a very low production rare vehicle. This is a very straight and solid original truck needing only minimal rust and body repair. Runs and drives with original 292 6 cylinder and 4 spd. transmission, new gas tank, shocks and brakes. original seats and radio

Here's the monster that I just picked up over the weekend! It's a 65 Stageway. It looks rough, but with some body work and different paint job, it'll be a looker.

Re: Post your pics of 64-66 Panels & Subs
Man that Stageway is sweet!
Nice score!! |
Re: Post your pics of 64-66 Panels & Subs
It's especially nice that it runs and drives. Has the original 327 with 67k miles and 4 spd tranny. Factory power brakes and steering. And the big plus, is that it has all it's seats!

Very nice Surb! Look like it was a party rig! I'm new to the site but just scored this Surb. Love the bumper and plan to paint it matte black with blackout windows .

My 64 K14 waiting for a new motor. Bought in 1970 at Government surplus auction and was made for U.S. Navy. It was stationed at Navel Air Station, El Centro, Ca. It has the front factory tow hooks and is a nine passenger burb with rear rear seat and barn doors. Needs new paint, and some TLC.

Here is my 65. Working on a mild restoration/driver in memory of my dad. Just stripped the paint from around the windows and top of the doors. Going back to the original light blue and white and painting the rims to match the body(eventually) 2nd pic is of my 283 which came from a 63 Chevrolet Biscayne. Trans is a 78 TH350.
