That is some serious lift. I was surprised to see how high the truck sits raised.

You won't have any issues with ground clearance on speed bumps or other stuff.

Thanks for the pics.

You mentioned video?;) I'll watch for sure.

Well I have been messing with the frame and body for a while I figure its time to change things up a bit and start on the inside of the cab. It was done like 15 or so yrs ago so it cleaned up fairly well after wiping everything down with some spray away....love that stuff. I'm just going to do freshing up in there, new paint, Bedliner floor, carpet and a monster stereo install and a couple of my own touches. Dash had been smoothed out yrs ago....going to install a doubledin DVD player like in my caddy. Someone broke broke the column thinking they would seal it while at the engine shop bet they felt stupid when they realized there was no motor in there:lol: I have some work ahead of me but intend on bangin it out as quick as possible so I can start doing some wiring and head in the direction of driving this baby

You got all that paint off in 2-3 hours with a couple a razor blades,??,,,, and wipe away? Whoa dude, you just learned me someptin' .
I've got to get me some of that stuff.
Sorry about your column getting hacked on. Kill switches and security to keep thieves from stealing.

Great progress on the cab.http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/er...smiley-004.gif

good stuff man!! cant wait to see how the paint in that cab is gonna turn out!!!!! You gonna use the same color blue?

Re: project bagged 63 c10

That blue is so nice. Are you gonna do any engine parts with it? Valve covers, air cleaner and water pump in that blue would be killer!

Thanks Bomp:lol: I used the spray way glass cleaner to wipe the panels down and at first I was bumming that the paint was flaking in some spots. Well it turned out to be a blessing in disguise and worked out to my advantage and once I razor bladed the panels the metal was really that clean... I am amazed for 50 yr old metal to stay that nice.
Luckily that column misshap was when the truck was in az. I'm not to worried about security lol I don't plan on my truck not being in my my site while not at home in the garage  :chevy:

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Well I jammed out earlier and once again fell asleep while posting so now it's early in the morning and I can't sleep so I figured I'd finish posting up now cleaned up my inside of my cab really nice and managed to get some etch primer on the roof for now and ran out at least the most uncomfortable part to do is done and ready for final priming. Smoothed out the back wall and blocked out the body work where a fun rack once was:lol: tomorrow ill finish smoothing the dash out in the morning( well in a couple of hours when it's not to early to be making noise out in the garage haha).....

Still have to cut out my hole for my double din radio. I know it's a shame to cut a hole in this nice and clean dash but used to have the radio in the glove box back in the day and it was just too far or a reach and I want my daughter to be able to see it while I'm driving and have plenty of leg room in the middle for years to come. Trying to prime everything this weekend so I can get some paint down this week after work:metal:

Got the rest of the green paint off just 2 more small spots to attack. Then d/a it smooth and a hand sanding here and there and get everything ready for primer:metal:http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...0FA75375C6.jpg
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...0FB6DA19C0.jpg

And halfway decent side shot.....too heavy to push this baby around by myself anymore:lol: I almost snapped my foot in half pushing the truck in by myself after I got the cab back on the first time....luckily it was just two toes but it hurt like hell and won't by trying that again:lol:

Nice work on getting the paint off the dash.
Don't hurt yourself on moving things around. (it has a tendency to slow things down a lot)

When you going to get paint on your dash?
