Re: Post pics. Lets see how many 60-66 4x4 are out there.
It's not as pretty as a few of the last ones but I like it. It's a 62 K10, 235, SM420, Divorced 205, D60 front, D70 rear, 40" Gumbo Mudders. Lifted somewhere between 6 and 8 inches with 52 and 56" springs. I pushed the front axle forward ~3". Hydroboost with crossover steering is in progress. Eventually it will have a big block, hydro assist and all that fun stuff.
Here's how it looked when i got it. Stock with 33s. http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/...icture01-1.jpg This is what it looks like now. http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/...072357_635.jpg |

62k ... how wide is your trailer between the rails ? I have a chance at a deal on exactly the same type of trailer , but it's 77" between the rails . I don't know if that's wide enough for a C-10 . Thanks . |

My '65 K10. 400 small block and a 4-speed. 90% new brakes (some of the hard lines are original) new charging system and a new clutch with the correct flywheel for a 400. I'm sort of at a "pencil's down" moment, because of the weather and the holidays, but I'm still picking away at things. Once I take care of how to get gas into the rear-mounted tank... and finish rebuilding the parking brake system... and fabricating new front mounts for the bed, I can bolt the bed down once and for all. From there the fenders and steps should bolt right on. http://jimaltemus.smugmug.com/Cars/1...17514858-L.jpg http://jimaltemus.smugmug.com/Cars/1...17514506-L.jpg |
