A lot of work put into this one. He has chopped it and the top fits. He's also cut the doors down to the bed height but figured out a way to keep door glass.

I've been waiting to see if this was possible. I'm most curious about what he did for the windows after he cut the door down. Is there just enough window there that all you need to do is cut it and re-do the felts/runners, given you don't tilt the windshield back?

When you roll the windows up the "sash" comes just under the belt moulding, just cutting the doors would hang the regulator above the new door profile. I see it has part of a jeep top mated to the Blazer top as well; car firewall, floors, frame? Hhmmmhh.

I'm guessing that since he chopped the top, he had "extra" window so the regulators don't need to be all the way up.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Agreed, but the windows shape must play some role as well. Flat glass is easily altered. I see no reference to the flared wheel lips; lots of work that's for sure.

It's actually located in Vancouver Wa. I have seen it, but that was over a year ago. Still looks like the same pictures from back then. If someone is really interested, i could probably make a trip to check it out.. I also see it on the local Portland Craigslist

O I thought it might of been yours but didnt remember you shaving the top off and things like. that. is it worth 22k since youve seen it

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I would pay that much if I wanted something like that, but as it sits I would still want to change a few things based on personal preference.

Mine will be posted for sale soon. When I can get some pics uploaded I will put it in the for sale section. 90%+ rust free, needs some to get running as it has sat a while. $5k in Florida

This is my Black 2wd. Not my old Yellow Avatar truck. That has been sold.

90% rust free 2wd
rear 5% of bed would need repair.
All other panels were good or fixed.
Top of winshield has rust.
Rear welded roll pan
Front Fiberglass pan (some frame rail was cut off for fitment)
Shaved doors, gas filler, antenna

Engine is a 350/350 combo that has not ran in a few years since an HEI install I lost interest in when my son was born.

Probably needs a painless wiring kit as there was a short or 2 in the lights.

Pretty solid truck with a nice hard top. HALF top is not included (SORRY TO TEASE BUT I WAS NOT TAKING IT OFF ON MY RECENT TRIP TO FL JUST FOR A PIC.
Original seats (need redone)

Any ideas? any questions?

As stated I will get an offical ad up soon when I get my vacation pics downloaded as i visited her in strage and got engine and more.
