Not much progress on the truck. Just driving the wheels off it.
Took Darrah out for some pizza last night. Picture turned out good for a phone.

Man your truck is sweet! :metal: And its super cool your girls are going to start pinstriping. I started about 6 months ago and I love it. One thing I would recomend when just begining is to not even fool around with a Mack or anything like that. Go straight to a Kafka Scroll series #3. That brush is amazing. I started with a Mack 00 and it was nice but I was blown away using that scroller, even for old school designs and spider webs! Post pics of thier art! :metal:
cheers.
Sam

Doesn't everyone? I always park where I think I'll be able to see my truck. One day at Cracker Barrel I looked outside and noticed someone taking a picture of my daily driver S10.

I don't know but I mentioned it in my thread and nobody spoke up. It's like nobody wanted to admit the addiction. .........

I gave my 1973 Plymouth Satellite to my oldest boy. I drove it to a Golden Corral about 10 years ago and 2 workers walked up to the window beside me and one of them said, "man what is it?" and the other said " I don't know but it's a chevy!!! " :haha:

Anyway, I see 4D has the bug too!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Sorry for no new post, November is a hard and depressing month for the family.

Did get some good pictures of Darrah posing with the truck and worked on trying my luck with painting some 60-62 emblems.

Still saving some money up and getting closer to sending the truck off to the body shop, since Alan won't come and get it.

So what are the next plans for the truck?

4dranch 12-11-2009 08:26 AM

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build

Windsheild, Paint and then the wood bed. Upholstery work while its being painted.

Local glass company quoted me a front windsheild yesterday installed and warranty $140.00 plus $59.00 for the gasket. I'm thinking this weekend.

My brother in law is working on the wood for the bed. and the body man is waiting on me.

Yeah we go, I actually live maybe 10 mins from the Motorsports park.
I wonder if there will be a show this April since they closed up the place.

Well finally got off my a$$ and got back in the shop last night.
I found a source for some of the parts I been needing. :metal:
So I thought I would tackle a couple these areas so the body man wouldn't have to and save me from paying him. Anyone want to come by and help me snatch my hood off..
