I haven't mounted it yet, but it will probably be under the hood on one of the inner fenders.

I just read your build and all I can say is you're doing a very amazing job! Great color choices as well!! This week I got a 5.3 and decided to drop it into a 68 suburban I have, I googled 5.3 and your build came up. I'm not sure if I missed it or if no one has asked, but what are you doing for engine management? Just wondering what I will need to pick up to get the engine running in my burb. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Joe. I plan on running a SpearTech harness. I've talked to them a couple of times and I think they are going to be able to handle the changes I'm making (supercharger, cruise control, etc). Best of luck to you on your Burb and take lots of pictures.

I talked to Porterbuilt today and solved another problem I had. I plan on pulling a trailer and I think this setup will fit my needs perfectly........:D.

You will be very happy with this set up. I met with Reno and checked out the system very close and I will be doing the same one in my Tahoe.

It runs the tranny also. I have the electric gas pedal and they are going to pull some wires to allow me to run cruise control.

What he said! :) Just ordering parts. I received my AccuAir setup yesterday :metal:, (thanks Nathan). I will going back to FL at the end of the month for a week. If everything goes as planned it will all be in red paint and then we will paint all the white when I move back in August.......in the meantime, I'm playing with this.....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=343684

Even though I picked up a new truck while back in FL, I didn't totally neglect the suburban. We almost got everything painted red, but ran into a small paint problem. Hopefully by the end of the week everything will be red and the roof will be white......Here's a few pictures of my 68 SWB I picked up and some of the suburban progress.

Thanks! It's an early retirement present....:). I haven't made any videos yet or got to silly with it since the suspension was heated to get it lower. Once I get that and a few other things corrected, I will take it to the track to see what it can do.....

Yeah, it's the one from Ebay. I'm VERY happy with it. I just plan on a few upgrades, new drop coils, shock relocator, adjustable pan hard bar, take the tank and battery out of the bed, put the shifter back on the column, hook up the power steering.......just some stuff to make it more driver friendly. We just had a problem getting the paint matched. We finally got it figured out, but it cost us a couple of days.

I would recommend the TT II's over the polished Coys. The Coy's finish isn't that great. Your 'burb really needs a nice set of Billet Specialties wheels!
I wish I had your body man in my area.

Rob,

Nice truck! I might be able to help you out with the lowered coils. Once I get my truck on the other chassis, I am not going to need the 4/6 drop coils. Rear suspension is almost done and front should be bolt in, thanx Porter.
