I put the bushings in last night, (I went with Energy Suspension Polyurethane bushings) The bushings have a shoulder on them (stock does not) and they do a much better job keeping the trailing arm from twisting, (I don't know how long they will last but they are cheap and easy to change!!) and I now have the pinion angle at what looks to be close to zero (I did not have a chance to measure it), drove the truck last night and the crazy vibration is gone. I'm going to look around to see if I can find pinion shims for our trucks, I would like to at least have 2 degrees.
I picked up a 700R4 on the cheap so I'm keeping the 4.11s and gonna put the trans in, kind of a simple swap, her trans is a long tail shaft, I only have to move the crossmember back and a few simple other things, it puts the final drive at 2.88. I'll keep you guys posted.

We ahead and pied the block to correct the pinion angle, I'm sure this was not needed, but I wanted it right.
