Hey Dino , can we get some pics of the rear doors , specifically how they did the window mechanism and door latch ?? I didn't realize the crew had rust .. Good luck ..

Such a bummer but kinda refreshing to see a build that didn't start out very solid for you. :hm: Rust or not, I know you guys will knock it out of the park in the end!

Wow Dino, I had no idea the Crew Cab was that rusty. You're definitely doing it right, and you've got a good guy on it. I anxious to see pictures of the progress!

I'm always blown away at how you find more trucks than anybody I know. You must have the entire Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa area scoped out. In the future, I am going to put those skills to work and see if you can find me an original paint (white) longbed fleetside box that I can make a trailer out of. When I'm done with my '64, I want a matching slammed patina'd trailer, with the same wheels as the truck.

Joe Dirt sez: Daaaaaaaang! That's gonna be nice though, to dynamat and rustkill the roof before putting the new headliner in. Have fun, this is gonna be sooo killer when done.

This hobby is sooo cool that a "little" rust like that is nuthin for a crew like you guys. You'll have that thing solid in a snap then turn it into something at the top of the scale. You've shown us how already! YOU dude, have the vision and gumption to make some cool trucks - props!

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

Thats gonna be so cool. I have to laugh at the rust, feel for those east coast guys. We throw better stuff away, on the flip side, thinking of doing a killer custom after my short wide is done.

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

LOL! That ain't a rust problem. You should see some of the ones here in the Middle Coast!

Seriously tho, dude, always amazing builds from some of the best talent I've ever witnessed.

I scored a 1 ton chassis from a 1976 crew cab car hauler that had a 20" bed. Not sure what to do with it, but it'll be big!

The cold is affecting us here in Southern Nevada also... I almost didn't wear shorts to work today, and only because I work outdoors:lol:
