It reminds of those guys who got recycled in boot camp. Once through was enough for me, but some guys would have to re-do a week or two. That was back in '73. The Category IV (educable mentally retarded) guys were allowed up to 6 months to graduate boot camp. I'm not sure that that is true any more, but the Navy is always going to need bilge rats and bos'ns mates, so maybe it is. Before anyone hollers about bos'ns, I was a bilge rat, AKA, hole snipe.

I have the "It's not you, it's me" conversation regularly @ the local watering hole I frequent (proximity, friendly owners, food, tv's, & scenery). I'm probably their No.1 customer that sits @ a table alone & tries like he** to eat my food/drink my drink while avoiding conversations w/most of the other/regular patrons. There are a few that I'm comfortable with (only after enough observation/assessment time) that I'll have conversations with. There's more that I've told flat-out to stay away & ignore.... :cool:

The Pandemic/shut-down convinced me to finally get a TV (9yrs w/o one) since I couldn't go see $1 movies any more over the colder Winter (well, Tx winter) months & start buying more microwaveable meals. Beyond that, things didn't change much socially.

:lol: Vegie burgers are less healthy than the cow meat. You ever read the ingredients on those packages!? If I want vegies, they're going to be vegies without all the crud.
