I would too, but life moves on and I have seen something that I have not actually seen that’s come back into the market.

It’s not a Chevy, but it’s quirky and rare enough to draw my attention.

So today the one Bootfair was slow, and only half a field.

Still, I managed to buy this roll of upholstery vinyl leatherette for £7.00 or $10.00 and have it planned for the Blazers possible replacement

Adding it all up, comes to 38 foot by 4 foot or in modern measurement 11.6 meters long and 1.450 wide.

You find the coolest stuff over there at the Boot Fairs . Good luck on the sale of the Blazer , cant wait to see what you come up with next . I have been Downsizing my toys and Peddle Cars lately to kids that will play with them instead of me just looking at em . Still collecting Trucks and parts though .

Last night was Copperfields foe Americans and Hotrods.

And dinner too.

Starting up, and pulling the Blazer out front, and then Sally and I driving over toward Gravesend made me grin madly.

Busy weekend.

Worked late in London Friday.

Yesterday Sally and I cut back all the hedges, weeded the beds, trimmed shrubs making the garden look a million dollars as they say. She had brought along Bear, her dog so he was happy too.

By 4pm she left to clean up and and get the dog home.

Back by 6pm and then we headed out to meet friends for dinner at the Turkish place.

No regrets there, everything was magnificent as usual and the beers were cold.

Such an undiscovered jewel.

Spent a total of £6.00 on the Blazer today.


Mate Craig had gone over to Dez in Essex to collect some stuff, including a Rallye wheel that had come from KevfromWales at the end of last year.

So he then delivered it when he collected a few things from my place.

Basically the biggest concern to me now, is how much space it takes up, going down the side of the house in reverse.

The not a project is too big for the driveway. I was wondering why you were wanting to shift in on down the road.

You might want to price some replacement parts for a 53 54 Chevys Chevy. I think they have king pins and bushing front ends with roller bearing front wheel bearings. They can be pricey. They also have an enclosed drive shaft which is fun to deal with on clutch or trans. removal. But you have a shop with enough tools to overcome any mechanical obstical.

You may going to hot rod it with some new suspension like air bags and later model parts.
The main thing is like you say, "It makes you grin maddly"
