Looks good. This is roughly the mild stance (with stock wheels) I'm looking at in my '98 for now. Any significant change in handling/ride quality? Curious if you ever haul anything and what that's like now.

I really dont tow anything, I have another truck for that, it dont ride bad at all. Im sure it would ride better with some bilsteins or something other than the older bell techs i have now.

I tend to haul stuff in the bed of mine. Mulch, compost, loads of spent grain/mash. Nothing crazy like giant rocks although PO of my truck did. Me hauling stuff is the only thing that's been making me think twice about dropping it.

Fear about this is probably unfounded. Too ashamed to ask on the suspension forum :D

In the pic it has 235/60-17 fronts & 275/60-17 rears. Fronts have since been changed to shorter 225/60's because of rubbing.

Thanks, yeah. you know how it goes, he moved, got busy with work and family, and it got shoved to the side. then no time or money to get it back in shape.

1989 on K1500 torsion bar chassis. Flip kit in the back front lowered about 4.5".

1994 vintage 454 w/original T400 & K2500 LD 9.5" 14-bolt. All 1994 dash, A/C system, front clip, PCM and wire harness.

Need to find the narrower C2500 LD version of the 9.5" 14-bolt so the tires will tuck in more.

After I rebuild the engine & trans this winter I will paint it. Its going to get the rear flares to match the front too.

4-wheel disc w/ proper master cylinder and adjustable proportioning valve, rear sway bar, K2500 ECLB big block torsion bars, poly bushings everywhere. Stops better than any truck I have ever driven and most sports cars too. Out handles your ability to hang onto the steering wheel.
