Bumping this thread with a saddle colored stocker that got posted on CL and sold in the blink of an eye. It probably sold to the first guy to see the ad. Anyone here?

Re: most original 60-66 truck in existence?

I want to make my 65 GMC as original as possible, but the original hubcaps (which are usually dented and destroyed) and extremely hard to find. And, the 230 got replaced with a 1967 250, so making mine original would take some extreme searching and lots and lots of money. ;(

I don't know what it sold for, only what it was listed at, which lasted less than a day. I'd prefer to let the new owner announce his/her somewhat good fortune by coming forward here on the board with the truck. I HOPE that person is a member.

Cool find Bruce! Hopefully the new owner is a member here or finds the board.

Too cool! Do you have the old eBay link? I'd like to save some of the pics in fullsize form.

How about the '63 C 20 with 20K? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Ot...ec5&rmvSB=true If the owners are unfortunately not on this site, ebay photos are the best we can do.

Oh yeah, You mean the deal of the century? Somehow I almost feel insulted that a survivor of this caliber went so cheap. Obviously, when it comes to C20's the truck buying public is still fast asleep. Wake up fellas! ... No wait, ... nevermind, go back to sleep.

what rims are on your 65? My brother has a set of 16s he got with his 65 burb that have clips and in the boxes of parts a set of GMC clip style painted caps in good condition. He is looking for driver quality chrome 65 chevy nub caps

It's my understanding that "nub" wheels came later after 66.
