The Burb slider latches are not reproduced, and it is hard to find originals. And when you do find them they are $$$. I believe there are some in the '60-'66 classifieds here on the forum.

I see you're over in Spokane, I'm in CDA

I can't tell for sure, but it appears as if you have the window locks for the rear sliders installed...are they the originals or did you find them somewhere? i am in the throes of doing a resto-mod on a '65 as well and one of the sliders was missing the locks when i picked it up. thanks and your burb looks incredible!

I used a 66 long bed frame and cut it down to the 115 inch I still have a full suburban rolling frame I spent so much time and money on the long wide frame I decided to use that I was building the truck until I found he suburban.thanks!

Does any know if 66 c-10 Pickup has the same chassis as 66 suburban 4x4?

Re: started working on the 65 suburban

The C10 Suburban has the same wheelbase as a short wheelbase C10. The Suburban frame will have body mounts from the rear of the doors, back, instead of bed mounts. Also the rear of the Suburban frame will be shaped to accept the Suburban rear bumper. The truck frame will have a square cut on the rear end of the frame. Otherwise they are the same.
