I got two sort steps and a couple fleet-sides (can't tell long or short) going the other way.....and a service body to the right of the overpass......and it's actually a GMC. |

Ill throw some more controversy on the 63 4wd hubcap debate. I purchased a postcard for my 63 literature collection from 1963 taken in Berrien Springs, MI at Pennellwood resort. Postcard says taken in 1963 in a 1963 GMC truck. The truck has hubcaps....so the mystery continues?

It's not rust - it's patina

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.
Alrighty then, when does it become officially rusted?

I thought that to be a good question. So I googled rust vs patina. I found some interesting info. I posted a couple points here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...00#post6405300 |
Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.
hey just checked out craigslist and came across this add if anyone wants to check it out, its hub caps realated.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/4193448242.html sorry to throw this wrench in the gears but hubcaps did come up. if someone could paste the hubcap thread for me I'll direct it to that to diminish confusion. |

I haven't looked at Rob's response yet (but I'm sure he'd agree).... But I think , after years of observation...., If you can see day-light through it....It's called rust. If that doesn't clear it up, then.......If you're buying it, it's rust, if you're sellin it, it's "patina". |
